The AnchorSTEM Scholars engage in community-building activities that foster meaningful connections, friendships, and trust. These experiences help to create a supportive network that will empower them throughout their academic journey and beyond, providing a strong foundation for success over the next four years.

UCSD Obstacle Challenge Course

Scholars participate in a team-building activity at the UCSD challenge course, which provides an adventure-based experience focused on leadership development.

They work together to get through ground-based and climbing activities while building group cohesiveness and developing leadership, goal-setting, and decision-making skills.
